Registration and Student Records Students must submit all required documents for admission/registration to the Office of the Registrar which is the custodian of the students permanent scholastic records. The registrar will keep the student updated with their scholastic achievements per semester. The registration form is the official record of subjects enrolled in. Any change must be accomplished by the students and approved by the registrar and the dean. Guidance, Counseling, and Testing The Office of the Guidance, Counseling and Testing helps students to get to know their strengths/aptitudes/potentials, areas for improvements through the different tests (personality and aptitude) and to adjust to campus life, making the best out of his/her basic professional training. Also, the Guidance Counselor along with the Class Advisers and Level Coordinators are ready to help sort out, find, and explore alternative ways of resolving student personal problems and develop healthy coping patterns. Medical and Dental Services at Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center There are arrangements made by the College for the students to go through a yearly medical and dental examination. Student privileges include free medical consultation in the college clinic, twenty percent (20%) discount on hospital room rates, X-ray, CBC, urinalysis and fecalysis; and 40% discount on dental services by the college dentist. A Letter of Authority signed and approved by authorized school officials is required to be accomplished and submitted at least one (1) day prior to consultation and/or discharge from the hospital. Library Services The College Library houses current books and professional journals and other learning resources. Students are encouraged to maximize the use of the library facilities. Only bonafide students, administration, faculty, staff and alumni members are allowed to use the library upon presentation of a valid ID. Researchers from other institutions may use the library upon payment of a nominal fee and upon presentation of valid ID and a letter of request from the librarian of other institution. |
